高考改革应突出对学生能力的考察

Reforming University Entrance Examination to Lay More Stress on Checking Students’ Abilities

本文突出对学生能力的考察，是世界考试评价改革的重要趋势之一。高考的性质决定了它应着重考察学生进入高校继续学习的能力。但是，我国的高考改革在这方面所作的努力远远不够。应借凿国外经验，结合我国实际，在今后的高考改革中突出能力考察的地位，发挥高考为高校选拔合格新生并引导中学素质教育的作用。

It is one of the world tendencies that examinations are shifting to lay stress on checking students’ abilities. The characteristics of University Entrance Examination (UEE) have determined the students’ abilities of continuous study at university would be most important. However， our reforms in UEE are far from satisfied. To select the qualified students for universities and promote equality education at high schools， it is necessary for us to introduce the ability checking into UEE through learning useful experiences of foreign countries with a combination of a consideration of Chinese realities.
