大学独立学院权力关系的复杂性和特殊性是由其多元的管理主体、二元的举办主体和办学主体之间关系的复杂性和特殊性决定的。大学独立学院的权力关系包括五个层面：一是政府与大学独立学院的权力关系；二是大学与大学独立学院的权力关系；三是资本投资者与大学独立学院的权力关系；四是大学与资本投资者之间的权力关系；五是大学独立学院的内部权力关系。由于大学独立学院的”民”、”独”、优”的三个典型特点，使得这五个层面的权力关系更加错综复杂，大学独立学院权力关系的调整将有利于大学独立学院持续、健康发展。

Due to the three typical characteristics of the independent college of the university as “private”， “independent”， and “advantageous”， the five─layer power relationship becomes more complicated. The adjustment of the power relationship among the independent college is helpful to the stable and health development of the independent college.
