On the Sustainable Development of Private Higher Education Institutions in China

本文对中国民办普通高校的可持续发展进行了分析，旨在推进已经具有学历教育资格的民办高校既注重扩大规模又重视提高质量，使社会效益和经济效益相统一，为推进21世纪中国高等教育大众化做出应有的积极贡献。

Based on the analysis of the sustainable development of private regular higher education institutions in China， the paper aims at promoting those qualified in issuing formal diplomas to both the expansion of scale and the enhancement of quality so as to integrate the economic benefit with the social benefit and contribute to the process of popularizing China’s tertiary education in the 21st century.
