The article analyzes the existing problems in instructional design research， uses the principles of the common methodology to explain the instructional design issues， reveals “ordinary people” orientation and “phenomenon” orientation in instructional design research， and points out that the common methodoloy provides a new perspective of research and reflection on instructional design.
