西部地区现代远程教育发展的特点与趋势--以陕西省现代远程教育发展为例

Peculiarity and Tendency of Modern Distance Education Development in West China

西部地区以[荒、远、穷]著称，西部大开发的关键是加快人才培养和教育发展。全国多数普通试点高校和电大开放教育紧紧抓住这一机遇和市场需求，利用各种渠道进入西部地区，找市场、谈合作、建中心、圈地布点、谋发展。陕西是西部地区的一个缩影，因此文章就以陕西省连续四年公布的权威数据为基础并结合笔者的实践体验，通过对进入陕西开展现代远程教育的有关数据进行分析处理，从八个方面得出西部地区现代远程教育发展的特点和趋势。

The key to the Great Development of West Area， noted for remoteness and backwardness ， is to speed up the talent cultivation and education development， accordingly， many regular experimental colleges and open universities are trying every means to meet the social and market demands. Equipped with authoritative data of four successive years delivered by Shaanxi province and his personal experience， the author takes Shaanxi， which is characteristic of western area， as an example to illustrate the peculiarity and tendency of Distance Education development in west China from eight aspects.
