According to Paul M. Lester， there are two representative theories of visual communication which can be divided into two subdivisions: Sensual and Perceptual.， each of which lays special emphasis on the different levels of the Humankind’s Hierarchical Communication. But they are suspected of relevance with the Reductionism and the Special Creation respectively in them so that they cut the causal chain and system integrity of humankind’s hierarchical visual communication， which leads to the long-standing theoretical problems troubling the field of visual communication. The author discusses on the integration of Visual Theories by the Humankind’s Hierarchical Communication Model.
