英文摘要 | American elementary schools include the kindergarten to 5th or 6th grade depending on different state educational systems. Therefore, prospective elementary teachers are trained to teach all these grades throughout their college education program. Graduates from the Department of Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University are prepared to teach pre-kindergarten to 5th grade pupils. Its undergraduate curriculum design follows ten American INTASC standards, integrates the child development theory and age-appropriate teaching strategies, and represents well how American elementary teachers are trained to teach. |
