西南地區新建本科師院發展戰略

The Development Strategy of New Established Colleges in Southwest

西部大開發關係全國大局，東西步的發展差距實為人才差距。西南新建本科師院應把為區域經濟快速發展培養高素質師資作為首要任務，用現代大學理念引導自身發展，積極創新教師教育體系；大力整合教育資源，努力培育院校”核心競爭力”；牢固樹立自主辦學意識，主動協調與政府、社會的關係，充分發揮高等教育的社會功能，努力成為地方”標誌中心”，”立足西南，面向全國，放眼東南亞”。

“Go to the West” is important to the whole country and the main disparity is the disparity among talents. The new established colleges in Southwest should regard the developing of area economy and high-quality teachers as their principal assignment. They should guide their self-development by using the modern university ideology and transform to teacher education. They should integrate educational resources and cultivate their “core competitive force”. They should build up self-determination consciousness and harmonize the relationship with the government and the society actively. They should also bring into play sufficiently the social function of higher education to become the local “symbol center”.
