A Study on the Subject of History of Education in Great Britain since 2000

本研究旨在探讨2000年以来的英国教育史学科进展情况。作为学术交流的平台，英国教育史学会通过年会、出版物、资料库和学术奖项等一系列活动推进了学科发展。基于对《教育史》杂志刊登文章进行统计分析，可以归纳出英国教育史研究在关注时间段、地域和主题等方面的特点。伦敦大学教育学院是英国教育史研究的重镇，近年来在团队建设、课程和研究成果等方面都取得了稳固进展。总的来说，近年来英国教育史学科体现出了四个方面的突出特点：研究范围和主题不断扩大；积极开展跨学科研究，创新理论和方法；注重学科反思；加强国际交流与合作。

The aim of this paper is to explore the recent development of the subject of history of education in Great Britain since 2000. As the platform for academic communication， History of Education Society (UK) promoted the subject development through a series of activities， such as annual meeting， publications， database and academic awards. Based on the statistical analysis of the articles from the journal History of Education， we can conclude some features of the research in the aspects of time period， area， and theme. The Institute of Education， University of London is the center of history of education research in Great Britain. It gained steady development in scholar group， curriculum， and publications. In conclusion， history of education subject in Great Britain has four distinguishing features: continuously extension of research scope and theme; active involvement in interdisciplinary research; innovation of theory and method; taking emphasis on self-reflection of the subject; and the enhancement of international communication and co-operation.
