中文摘要 | 在计算机使用对学业成就影响的研究中,研究者得出的结论是不一致的。这可能是因为现有研究多数未能控制其它影响变量,而只能说明计算机使用与学业成就的相关关系。倾向分数方法是一种可做因果推断的统计方法。选取北京市24所中学所有七、八年级学生及其数学教师进行施测,运用倾向分数方法探讨学生计算机使用与数学成绩之间的关系。结果表明,在数学课堂中常使用计算机的学生,其成绩显着高于那些不使用或很少使用计算机的学生。 |
英文摘要 | In the studies of the impact of computer use on academic achievement, findings by different researchers were somewhat inconsistent. This inconsistency is probably due to the fact that most of the existing studies failed to control other variables and can only show the correlation between the use of computer and academic achievement. Propensity score analytical method is one of the statistic methods which can make causal inference. With this method, all the students in grade 7 and grade 8 and their math teachers from 24 middle schools in Beijing were tested to find out the causality between the students’ use of computer and their math achievement. The results indicated that students who often use computer in math class got higher scores than those who never or rarely use computer in math class. |
