英文摘要 | According to Hannah Arendt, human’s natality is the essence of education. Education renews itself through birth; the [new-comers] inject hope and confidence for the vitality and energy of the world. This kind of education points to the world and persons in the world. Educators hold a huge responsibility for the development of children and the maintenance of the world, and their responsibility is undertaken in the form of authority. As the medium of transition from private space to public sphere, education has to be conservative. Arendt’s educational conservatism prioritizes the provision of a safe environment for the development of children and introduces the new-comers into the world she meant, and thus enables them to renovate the world and achieve excellence in the public sphere the world provides for them. |
