促进高等教育入学机会公平是确保社会公平和建设和谐社会的重要内容。为了解当前我国高等教育入学机会的分布状况，需要建立相应的指针体标。这些指标体系包括全国和地方高等教育毛入学率、高等教育入学机会的区域、城乡、阶层、民族和性别差异等指标。

To promote the equal opportunity in the entrance of higher education plays an important role in guaranteeing social equity and constructing harmonious society. In order to figure out the distribution of entrance opportunity of higher education, a respondent indicator system should be built. These indicators include the gross entrance rate of higher education, and the disparity in entrance opportunity of higher education at regional, rural and urban, hierarchical ethnic and gender levels.
