学校发展环境的突发性和不可预见性，导致学校不得不经常采取快速的变革。家庭日益成为影响学校发展的重要环境因素之一。学校发展必须了解家庭，走入家庭，建立与家庭的伙伴关系以推动学校发展。不同国家或地区学校与家庭关系在历史发展、理论依剧与政策实践模式等方面呈现出发展的差异。家庭与学校关系的变革，受到各个国家社会政治经济变革的影响，相关社会领域的学术理论研究也区动了家庭与学校关系的调整变化。

School development always faces sudden and unpredictable situations， in which schools have to transform rapidly. Family has become an important factor influencing school development. To promote school development， schools must learn about families and go into families to build partnership. However， there are differences in the aspects of historical development， theoretical basement and policy implementation mode in the school─family relationship in different countries and regions. The social， political and economic transformation in a country as well as the academic theory study in relevant social fields has great impact on the transformation of school─family relationship.
