我國大學生對各國人民及男女特質的刻板印象之比較研究

本研究的目的是去探討我國大學生對各國人民及男女特質的刻板印象之比較分析，作為教學和研究上的參考。 因為刻板印象是認知和期許概括某些群體成員的標準。如此，我們在知覺複雜的社會環境中，使得刻板印象會過度的單純化。在這過程上，我們可能會失去分辨一個人與其他的人之間的重要差別。 本研究的主要發現如下： (1)我國大學生對各國人民的刻板印象有明顯的一致性存在。 (2) 我國大學生對男女特質也有明顯的一致性存在。 (3)文化的特質是深深的影響一個人的印象，我們必須在互動的情境中避免過度的概括化。

The purpose of this study was to investigate stereotypies of Chinese college students on national character between foreigners and Chinese， so as to work as reference to instruction and research. Because stereotypes are the cognitives and expectations assigned to members of groups simply on the basis of their membership in those groups， so stereotypes are oversimplifications that we use in an attempt to make sense out of a complex social environment. In the process， we can lose sight of the important differentiations that distinguish one person from another. The main finding of the study were as follows: (1) The stereotypes of Chinese college students on national characters between foreigners and Chinese have apparent consistence. (2) The stereotypes of Chinese college students on sex differentiation have apparent consistence. (3) The character of culture is thus the cement to influences impression of persons that we must to avoid oversimplifications in a situation of interaction.
