現代社會變遷使核心家庭取代傳統大家庭組織成為家庭組織的主要類型。父母在核心家庭中如何扮演角色才能使子女得到最好的教養是為主要論題。本研究即探討核心家庭角色如何分化及如何影響子女行為適應的理論及有關文獻。復在高雄市抽選男生193人,女生204人,據以實徵研究得主要發現數端:1.我國現代核心家庭有角色分化,但並不完全。2.現代核心家庭父母扮演角色並不完全循角色互補原理。3.核心家庭各種角色扮演分數確分別與子女孟氏行為困擾分數存有關係。4.利用電腦複迴歸分析結果發現,由核心家庭角色扮演情形可以有意義解釋和預測子女行為困擾變異的相當部分。其最高的複相關係數達.6172,可以解釋和預測困擾變異超過38%以上,社經地位在此項關係中不生作用。
英文摘要
This study was to investigate Parental role playing in Modern Nuclear Families and its effects upon the child behavior adjustments in terms of the problems measured by The Mooney Problems Check List. Parental role playing was based theoretically on a paradigm of Parsonian theory and related ones. Parental Role playing as Predictor variables, was measured by a Family Role Playing Inventory developed by this author which produces 24 scores. 193 boy students and 204 girl students from junior middle schools in Kaohsiung City formed as the sample. The major findings are as follows: 1. In general, role differentiation exists in most of nuclear families. For example, father performs much more Instrumental Role behaviors than mother does; mother acts much more as Affective Expression Role than father does. Mother does much more Educational Role, communication & guidance role for the daughter, whereas father plays much more this kind of role behaviors for the son.However, that parents play cooperatively together is still the most prevailed way in all of the family roles except in the Expressive role playing. 2. In Nuclear families, Parental role playing doesn’t necessarily follow the principls of “role complementarity.” This principleadvocated by Parsonians has only partly been validat here. 3. Pa rental role playing in the Nuclear Family does correlate with children behavior adjustment. 4. Sex is an important intermediate factor in the correlations of parental role playing with child behavior problems. For example, mothers’ scores in playing “Education Role” and “Communication & Guidance role” are positively correlated with behavior problems for boy students, whereas they negatively correlated for girl students. 5. Standardized multiple regression equations predicting children behavior problems from Instrumental role play variables, Expressive role variables, Communication Guidance variables, and all of the above were computed for boy & girl students with a R as high as .6172, accounting for more than 38% of the variance on the criterion variables.
