On Education for Spirit

就人的生存来说，人对精神生活的渴求和对精神世界发展的向往，在根本上就是人类实现自身解放的理想的一种内在驱动力。教育，作为促进人类自身不断发展的社会工具，它不能不关注人的精神世界的充盈和精神生活的和谐。因此，倡导并实施精神教育，既是当代社会发展提出的合乎人性的要求，也是解决现代人精神困惑的必然选择。

Education for spirit is a general reference to all the educational activities that promote the development of the world of human spirit and lift the quality of the life of human spirit. The connotation of education for spirit includes three parts： (1) to promote psychological health; (2) to life moral standards; (3) to ahide by spiritual conviction. If education for spirit is advocated and implemented in modern times， it can correct current educational defects and save the warned soul of modern people. Education for spirit is important for people to pursue educational values for their own higher-level development.
