Investigating Teaching and Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
隨著科技的日新月異，到了二十一世紀的今天，許多的人工智慧（Artificial Intelligence, AI）科技進入到我們日常的生活與學習當中，世界各國都對AI發展與影響充滿期待，未來的推展一定更快速更廣泛。本文探討AI在教與學的可能發展，並且舉「Photomath」與「形色」二個App軟體的教學應用為例，說明不同的教學設計才能教出軟體的應用價值。這當中教師仍扮演重要的角色，而且與時俱進的教學設計才是真功夫。當電腦可以幫學習者多做事時，學習者應該也相對地投入應有的學習工作與反思，才能超越原來的學習成就，達成近側發展區（Zone of Proximal Development, ZPD）的成就。文末指出現代師生面對智慧科技的使用態度，就是「拿來用、懂道理、能創新」，唯有善用智慧科技，教與學才能共創雙贏。
With the rapid, ever-changing development in technology nowadays in the twentieth-first century, many artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have entered our daily life and learning. As lots of the countries all over the world have greatly valued the development of AI, its future promotion will be increasingly faster and widespread. This paper aims at exploring the possible development of the application of AI in teaching and learning, taking the employments of two Apps software programs,“Photomath”and“PictureThis”(「形 色」), as examples explicating how pedagogical designs with different purposes can manifest the value of the software application. As the teacher always plays a crucial role, the ever-updated teaching approach is what really matters. Besides, the more the computer helps the learner, the more devotion and introspection are correspondingly required from the learner, in order to surpass the previous learning achievements and to reach that of the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). The end of the paper also suggests an attitude for using the AI technologies, that is, “to employ, to know, and to innovate.” Only through making the best use of the AI technologies can reciprocally beneficial interactions between teaching and learning be achieved.
