中文摘要 | 遊戲可以提供有意義的學習情境,如能適切地整合遊戲於教學中,可望能提升學生的學習成效。另一方面,行動科技促進了行動學習的發展,讓學習能脫離時間和空間的束縛。據此,行動遊戲式學習結合了遊戲與行動學習的優勢,可藉由行動科技的支持,擴展遊戲式學習的效應。然而,遊戲式學習若缺乏適當的教學設計,將不易達到預期的教學成效。因此,本文依據遊戲的特性與元素,規劃角色扮演行動遊戲,並探討其應用在國小校園學習環境上的成效。實證研究顯示,角色扮演行動遊戲可以提升學生的學習動機與成就,並能增進其高層次的思考技能。此結果可做為教師未來設計行動遊戲式學習的一項參考。 |
英文摘要 | Games can provide a kind of meaningful learning situations. Adequately integrating games and learning strategies promotes students’ learning effectiveness. This study explored the characteristics and elements of a well-designed game, and the impacts of the game-based educational activities as well. On the other hand, the advance of mobile technology has benefited the development of mobile learning. In such a learning environment, students can learn anytime and anywhere. Mobile game-based learning contributes to students’ learning effectiveness by the advantages of the integration of digital games into a mobile learning environment, such as the rapid access computing environment, wireless communication, and students’ engagement. However, there are few studies on the effectiveness of mobile game-based learning. In this study, a mobile role-playing game on elementary school students’ learning effectiveness is illustrated. The results revealed that the mobile role-playing game can effectively enhance students’ learning motivations and achievements, and improve their high-order thinking skills. |
