本研究旨在探討國民小學校長政治領導之行為，以桃竹苗四縣市公立國民小學為研究範圍，抽取84所國民小學及830位國民小學教育人員為研究對象進行問卷調查，有效樣本為682位教育人員，回收率86.63﹪，可用率94.85﹪。本研究使用的工具為研究者自編之「國民小學校長政治領導行為調查問卷」，所得資料數據以算數平均數、標準差、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析進行統計分析。
本研究主要結論如下：一、桃竹苗地區國民小學校長政治領導行為之表現屬中等程度；二、不同背景變項的國民小學教育人員對校長政治領導行為表現的知覺，部分有所差異存在。

The purpose of this study was to explore the political leadership behavior of elementary school principals. The study sample comprised 84 elementary schools and 830 participants from Hsinchu, Taoyuan, and, Miaoli; of these, 682 participants completed a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was developed on the basis of a literature review. Data were analyzed using arithmetic means, standard deviations, the t test, and one-way analysis of variance. The results reveal that the elementary school principals exhibited a medium degree of political leadership behavior. Furthermore, elementary school staff members with diverse backgrounds showed differences in their perceptions of the political leadership behavior of elementary school principals.
