中文摘要 | 在國際化的浪潮下,國內各大學規劃各項活動以鼓勵學生閱讀原文書。人類的行為受其態度影響,本研究主要目的即是探究英文能力、學業成績、接觸機會及生涯規劃對大學生對原文書的態度各構面反應的預測力,希望相關研究結果能提供各大學推動原文書使用參考。本研究以中部一所私立普通大學的大學部學生為對象,透過網路問卷及抽獎的方式邀請學生參與,共有2345名受訪者。研究工具是受訪大學自編的大學生原文書態度問卷,共分為基本資料及態度問卷兩部分。結果發現,受訪學生在原文書態度各構面反應不一致,而學生的英文能力及學業成績最能預測學生對原文書的態度。研究者也據此提出教學上及研究上的相關建議。 |
英文摘要 | As the development of globalization, more and more universities put efforts to enhance their students’ English abilities as well as their abilities of reading textbooks or course materials in original language which is English in most cases. Humans’ behaviors are related to their attitudes. Therefore, the researcher of this study investigated how the factors, including English abilities, academic performances, frequency of contacts, and career plans, could explain for the students’ responses to different constructs of their attitude toward textbooks in original language. A total of 2345 students at a private university in middle Taiwan completed the Questionnaire of Attitudes toward Textbooks in Original Language online. The results showed that there were significant with-in subject differences among the four constructs of attitudes. In addition, English abilities and academic performances could predict the attitude toward the textbook written in English most. Suggestions for educations and further studies were provided based on the results. |
