Long In-Chung “A small town planted with papaya tree”The acceptance to the Japanese modern literature

龍瑛宗（1911-1999）〈植有木瓜樹的小鎮〉的生成，除了龍瑛宗個人生活、工作與情感的因素外，最主要與他接受日本近代文學，並且學習與仿效有著重大的關係。本文主要論述〈植有木瓜樹的小鎮〉是如何從日本近代作家島崎藤村（1872-1943）、二葉亭四迷（1864-1909）、國木田獨步（1871-1908）等作品獲取創作的養分。同時，也將從龍瑛宗的私人家信論證〈植有木瓜樹的小鎮〉一文，帶有著強烈的個人自傳色彩。

Long In-Chung(1911-1999), the production of (A small town planted with papaya tree) is not only base on his personal life, work and emotional elements, also largely from his contact with the Japanese modern literature, learning and imitation. This article is mainly describing how does the (A small town planted with papaya tree) absorb the nutrition of creative idea from the works of modern Japanese writers such as 島崎藤村（1872-1943）、二葉亭四迷（1864-1909）、國木田獨步（1871-1908), also from his personal letters to confirm that  (A small town planted with papaya tree) has the color of self portrait.
