英國高等教育實習政策與實務探討

The Study of Internship Policies and Practices in the United Kingdom

因為全球高等教育擴充以及經濟不景氣，各國政府對於大學角色與功能之期待，開始有所轉變。也因為如此，實習課程在大學教育中的重要性日增。但隨著實習的日漸普遍，爭議和問題日增，例如實習生應有的保障，弱勢學生的實習機會，相關經費來源，甚至實習機會的增多是否意謂青年人就業機會的減少等？有鑑於此，本文檢視英國政府層級的高等教育實習相關政策，以及學校層級的作法，並據此提供我國政府、產業界與高教機構來參考。

Due to the global economic depression and mass expansion of the higher education globally, the nature of higher education has been transformed. As a result, the implementation of internship has played a key role in many disciplines across higher education. However, these increasingly common practices also lead to many unforesee controversial consequences, such as pay, welfare of interns and the internship opportunities for disadvantaged students. For the above reason, the paper reviews the related policies and practices in the UK. It is hoped some insights could be gained through reviewing the case in the UK.
