Diversification is one of the most important characteristics in foreign high schools,which is mainly reflected in the length and types, curricula arrangement and college admissions. After World War II, high schools were diversified and mainly either academic or comprehensive in most western countries. And high schools had both national curricula and elective courses to meet the needs of the different students.
