Research on Chinese Classical Education Curriculum: Taking Taoist Classical Education for Middle School Students as An Example
After the Classical education was interrupted a hundred years later, in the past ten years, it gradually led to widespread concern in Chinese society. The focus gradually changed from " to do or not" to " how to do" . The relevant theoretical research and empirical research were demanded very urgently. In this study, course objectives, content selection, teaching methods, curriculum evaluation was researched though taking the Taoist classic education for the middle school students as example. It was suggested that the classical education in the new era can be viewed as an cross-disciplinary education attempts, which including moral, psychological, Chinese, history, creativity and other aspects. Taoist classic idea of natural harmony, Heaven and human as one, etc. , could be used as a vivid teaching material. Basic reading should be combined with a variety of modern teaching methods and teaching evaluation. For teacher training in the Classical education, the true moral self-cultivation practice, with personal learning experience, was the most important aspects ready for classical education.
