英文摘要 | Classroom Observation is an important part of teachers’ daily teaching practice, as well as an important approach for the professional development of teachers. With the rapid development of technology, many forms of work in the education have begun to transform, and traditional classroom observation is facing new challenges as well. In this context, the researchers and their team designed and developed a mobile tool for teachers to conduct classroom observation collaboratively. In order to explore the effect of this new tool in the process of classroom observation and the teachers’ acceptance of this tool, the study selected 24 English novice teachers as the research objects and used quasi-experiment as the research method. The results show that: (1) The use of mobile classroom observation tool has changed the form and reconstructed the process of classroom observation, and improved the efficiency of classroom observation while achieved a more equal communication based on content-centered rather than teacher-centered. (2) The use of mobile classroom observation tool can help teachers to increase the depth and breadth of collaborative knowledge construction. (3) The majority of teachers are able to accept the new method of using mobile tool to conduct classroom observation, but at the same time they believe that the seamless integration of technologies requires a gradual acceptance process. |
