Performance Evaluation and Improvement Strategies for College Student Financial Aid Policy: A Structural Equation Modeling Study

With the increasing fiscal input in college student funding， the performance of college student financial aid policy has become a hot issue. Based on the theory of public policy evaluation， this paper establishes a policy evaluation framework with 5 dimensions and 16 indicators. Questionnaire survey is also conducted among fresh graduates at 7 colleges and universities in Beijing. A structural equation modeling analysis of the survey data reveals the mechanisms of how multiple factors influence the performance of student financial aid policy. It is found that existing college student financial aid policies have taken effect in the fields of economic support and moral education， but there is still room for improvement. The paper puts forward several strategies for the enhancement of college student financial aid policy from the perspectives of ideological education， professional financial support team， diversified funding sources and precise funding.
