英文摘要 | American social studies curricula shaped the curricula across Canada from progressive education movement in the 1920s to the structure of the disciplines in the 1960s. With the surge of social problems in Canada and the growing dissatisfaction with the cultural hegemony of the United States, Canadian Studies became an important form and gradually occupied a central position of the localization of social studies. The 1980s and 1990s' focus on values education and citizenship enhanced the localization of social studies in Canada . |
