英文摘要 | As one of the important representatives of critical pedagogy, Giroux has always been concerned about the fundamental issues of education, knowledge, the public value of education and so on. Giroux believes that the education of the United States is facing problems such as a market-oriented reform crisis , a decline of the role of teachers as public intellectuals , and the harm of traditional teaching meth- ods. To this end, we should re-examine education as a public space and teacher as transformative intellectuals , using critical pedagogy to highlight the true meaning of knowledge and to realize the common interests of mankind. |
