The Process, Progress and Trends of the Research of International Understanding Education in China
The research on international understanding education in China experienced three stages from rising， exploring to expanding. The researchers have carried out systematic study on external experience， basic theory， specialized practice and discipline teaching. In terms of external experience， Japan， the United States and Korea have provided inspiration for international understanding education in China. In terms of basic theory， researchers have conducted deeply study on the significance， connotation， objective and ways of international understanding education. In terms of specialized practice， region and school have both achieved remarkable results. In terms of subject teaching， researchers have widely discussed the content and methods of international understanding education on English， Chinese， history， politics， geography and other subjects. The trends of the research include: expanding the world vision of the research， conducting the research based on the key competencies， strengthening the research of curriculum system， promoting the empirical research， and so on.
