博士生招生“申请考核制”改革探析———基于X大学的调查

On the Reform of Application-Evaluation Mode for Ph.D. Admissions: The Case of X University

The application -evaluation mode for Ph.D. admissions has become a useful exploration for deepening the reform of graduate education and comprehensively enhancing the quality of graduate cultivation. Taking X University， one of the pioneers of the reform， as the example， this paper focuses on the actual effect of the application-evaluation mode for Ph.D. admissions by conducting in-depth interviews with Ph.D. supervisors， who are the primary stakeholders in Ph.D. admissions. The results show that the application-evaluation mode for Ph.D. admissions is better than the entrance-examination mode， and the long-term education system is better than the general entrance examination， but the reform of the application-evaluation mode should be reinforced.
