英文摘要 | Since the 21th century, the“Humboldt Myth”issue in European academic circle has suggested that the scientific achievement of German universities in 19th century cannot be interpreted by “Humboldt Model”. It was a result of the mutual coupling and confrontation between old and new academic systems. Modern academic institutions were still attached to classical organizations named lectures which contained tensions in the transitional age. Such a bizarre structure produced two results. Firstly, the modern elements contained in lectures promoted the development of modern science in German universities. Secondly, by the end of the 19th century, the traditional structure could no longer support the enhancement of modern science and its institution, which disorganized the faculty of philosophy. A careful examination of the historical process explains the confusion of the Humboldt Myth: the ability to better adapt to the evolution of academic knowledge at the organizational level is the internal mechanism of the scientific achievement of German universities. |
