英文摘要 | WeChat has been widely used in the current society, and has also gradually been used in the Education. Most of the existing studies on the parent-teacher cooperation in the K-12 schools using WeChat were mostly related to the introduction of relevant implementation, but without the research about the internal dynamic mechanism from the parents’ view. This study selected four parent groups (120 parents) from five grades in one primary school in Beijing as the sample to fill the questionnaire including three dimensions (media literacy, family education, media identity). The results showed that the parents recognized that the new media (WeChat) can play an important role at the dimension of the media awareness. And the parents generally thought that there was more harmonious between the parent and their children at the dimension of family education confidence. As the dimension of media recognition, the parents agreed that WeChat can help them to understand the school’s affairs at any time and enhance the students’ social abilities. But they haven’t agreed that WeChat to support the parent-teacher cooperation can promote the students’ learning and problem solving ability. This study thought that it was necessary to adjust the mode of the parent-teacher cooperation supported by WeChat. And we should urge the parents and teachers to focus on the development of the core literacy of the students and using the strategy of teacher’s guidance to keep the interest of the parents and avoid the conflict among the parents. Furthermore, this study considered that the good parent-teacher cooperation needs a proper cross-border between the parents and the teachers and WeChat can offer us a convenient way to cross the border between teachers and parents. But the parents and teachers should be responsible for the students’ growth while using the technology to support the parent-teacher cooperation. |
