On the Goyernance of University President in the Context of State Governance Transformation: A Review of International Conference on the Professionalization of University President Governance

The international conference on the professionalization of university president governance (2016) discussed the history， present and future of the administration of university presidents in China. How to improve the professionalization of university president governance is the key issue to the modem university system with Chinese characteristics. How to make university presidents devote themselves into the administration responsibilities is still a huge challenge. Both China’s reality and international experience shows that it is important to enhance institutional arrangements to improve the professionalization of university president.
