Analysis on Singapore Programme Courses in the Background of Elite Education Strategy

Cultivating elites is the state education strategy in Singapore. In order to implement this strategy， Singapore education department has gradually developed and introduced a series of programme courses，which both benefit elite students and answer individual difference needs. What is more， it actively directs students' choices for their future. At the same time，Integrated Programme is also developed to guarantee programme courses， which base itself on testing selection，stay away fromthe danger of backwash effect. Even if programme courses cannot be immune from faults， it is worth studying in terms of the construction of selective courses and elite education thoughts for our country.
