英文摘要 | Xue (学)andSi (思),whichare repeatedlydiscussed inTheAnalectsofConfucius,are two core educational concepts of Confucius. They are different from today?s ^learning” and “thinking”. The Xue and Si in The Analects of Confucius are two paralleled concepts, but they are different in terms of importance, with Xue more important than Si. What?s more,the discussion about Xue and Si and their relationship in The Analects of Confucius are thorough and comprehensive,and can be considered as a comparatively systematic educational theory . Revisiting the text of The Analects of Confucius to analyze the two concepts and their relationship can help us to make a deeper understanding about the meaning of Xue and Si theory in its culture context,and to further understand its educational signiticance and value. |
