英文摘要 | Upon the national wide implementation of Common Core State Standards (CCSS), ensuring the quality and effectiveness of its implementation—the initiation and application of an assessment system— has become another challenge American government has to confront. In this context, American government has developed and supported a national assessment system—PARCC. Being designed with model content frameworks and combining the advantages of various assessment methods, the PARRCC has been used as a companion to CCSS in improving college- and career-readiness among graduating students* An exploration on PARCC system can bring in valuable insights and recommendations to enhance the ongoing educational assessment reform in China. |
