英文摘要 | In the third teacher education research of Scotland, the Report of Donaldson further confinns that under the global context of 21st century the education quality of Scotland lies on its teacher quality and leadership. Scotland Professional Update is a significant practice in post-Donaldson exploration of and research on teacher professional development of Scotland. In 2012-2014, the General Teaching Council of Scotland took the lead of organizing the PU pilot in order to gain insight into how to offer all the teachers effective professional development through PU. This paper is to introduce the context (PU) and content (PU pilot), analyze the effect and experience of PU pilot, and then summarize features of teacher professional development of Scotland and its enlight~n.ment to that of China. |
