中文摘要 | 由于政治和历史原因,爱尔兰的教师教育历史比较短暂,人文主义和宗教共同 影响着爱尔兰教育的深层价值观,在爱尔兰,教育应该是对“整个人”的关怀,学校应该是让 学生作为一个“完整的人”去发展的地方。爱尔兰教育界认为,教育应具有一定的稳定性, 不应该像英国那样,由于教育大臣更换频繁而影响教育发展,因此,爱尔兰成立了教学专业 委员会,该组织全部由教师组成,正逐步实现教师行业的自我监督和自我管理。同时,由于 2009年的PISA结果显示出爱尔兰的学生在读写能力和计算能力方面存在严重问题,因此爱 尔兰将职前教师教育从一年延长到两年,职前教师教育项目的学分从60学分增加到120学 分。爱尔兰教育界认为,如果给予新教师更长的时间更深入地来学习如何成为一名合格教 师,那么他们将会更好地胜任教学工作,从而来提高整个国家的读写能力和计算能力标准。 |
英文摘要 | Owing to political and historical reasons, the history of Ireland's teacher education is short, and both humanism and religion affect the deep values of Irish education. In Ireland, education is considered the care for a "whole person", and school should be the place for students to develop as a "whole personll. Irish educators hold that education should have certain stability, unlike the UK where the education development has been influenced by the frequent change of minister of education. As a result, the Ireland set up a teaching professional committee composed of teachers, which has gradually achieved the goal of teachers5 selfmonitoring and self- management. Meanwhile, owing to the 2009 PISA result which showed the Irish students had serious problems in literacy and numeracy, Ireland then extended the pre-service teacher education from one year to two years and the credits of pre-service teacher education program increased from 60 to 120. Irish education circle holds that if new teachers are given more time to further their learning in how to become a qualified teacher, they will be better competent for teaching and the literacy and numeracy standards of the country will thus be improved. |
