中文摘要 | MOOC 始发于2008 年,之后这种课程模式不断创新和发展。2012 年,随着Coursera、edX 和Uadac鄄 ity 三大平台的建立,MOOC 在全球范围迅速兴起。平台提供者和国际媒体对其的报道吸引各界关注,不同学科 背景的学者和社会工作者积极参与,各种类型的文献急剧增长,2013 年后的研究文献无论质量还是数量都超过 前四年。对于MOOC 国际文献的研究热点和趋势进行梳理,不仅有利于国内研究者了解国际MOOC 发展动态, 也可以为我国本土化的MOOC 研究和发展提供借鉴和参考。本研究利用Citespace 软件提供的知识图谱系统梳 理2013-2015 年MOOC 研究文献,通过共引分析、聚类分析和共词分析等方法对MOOC 领域的前沿热点、演化 路径、研究内容进行分析后发现:研究热点集中于“个性化学习冶和“课程完成率冶;研究内容主要包括学习过程 研究、创新教学方法研究、课程设计与评估研究、MOOC 背景下新技术研究、系统性政策研究;研究方法以学习分 析和基于设计的研究为主。总体而言,研究主题仍比较零散,研究数据来源较为单一,多为单门或几门课程样 本,且明显对课程设计和教师情况关注不够。 |
英文摘要 | MOOC, short for " Massive Open Online Course " , originated in North America in 2008, and the curriculum model continues to innovate and develop since then. By 2012,MOOC has seen rapid development globally with the rise of a number of MOOC platforms such as Coursera, edX and Uadacity. The scale of enrollment and participation in the earliest mainstream MOOC courses has garnered a good deal of attention from international media, as well as from scholars from both education and other sectors, followed by a proliferation of publications on this much-debated new phenomenon. More literature on MOOC appear after the year of 2013 than the previous four years combined in quantity, and the quality of the literature is also higher than before. In this context, reviewing the research focuses and trends of international literature on MOOC is not only beneficial to domestic researchers to understand the frontier of development and research of MOOC globally and its educational possibilities, but also provides references for the localization research and development of MOOC in China. This paper uses the information visualization technology from Citespace software to present a systematic review of the published MOOC literature from 2013-2015. Two hundred and thirty-four papers are identified from the Web of Science (WOS) database as the reference source. Through a co-citation analysis, we found out that the research frontiers were on “ individualization and “ massive open online course completion rate". Through a co-word analysis, we found eight research areas and the research subjects were relatively scattered. Using the visual analysis of Citespace, combined with systematic reading of the literature, we found the following five mainstream research areas on MOOC including studies on: learning processes,innovative teaching methods,curriculum design and evaluation,MOOC -based new technologies and systematic policy of MOOC. Some new features of the MOOC research include:the use of learning analysis and design-based research and other innovative research methods, the relatively fragmented state of research content , limited data sources based on single or several course samples, with very little research on the common features of a large amount of MOOC courses, and inadequate attention on course design and the teachers. |
