英文摘要 | As the core force of higher education, Australian university teachers play an important role in talents cultivation and higher education development. Thus, how to better reward and motivate teachers and design proper academic promotion policy has always been an important agenda in Australian universities. The academic promotion policy in Australian universities has undergone continuous reform along with government's higher education policy adjustment. In the 21st century, Australian government has taken a series of initiatives to enhance teaching quality in higher education. In order to enhance the quality of teaching, Australian universities have also taken some steps to adjust their academic promotion policy. The reform of academic promotion policy in Australian universities, featured by their unique managerial culture and closely related to the country's higher education reform, may cast light on China's higher education reform. |
