英文摘要 | A center for faculty development should be committed to promoting the transition of university teachers' development from the empirical mode based on personal experience and self -awareness, to the professional mode based on rational training and cultivation. It is neither a purely administrative agency, nor a purely academic institute; instead, it is a specialized organization dedicated to the professional development of teachers by fulfilling the dual roles of administrative agency and academic institute. The main functions of faculty development center include: strengthening the professional awareness of teaching, enhancing the professional ethics of teaching, cultivating the professional culture of teaching, and improving the quality of teaching and learning in higher education institutions. |
