Effectiveness Evaluation of Oath Writing in MBA Business Ethics Education

受哈佛商学院MBA 毕业生签署商业伦理誓言的启发，清华大学经管学院在商业伦理课程中也安 排了誓言写作环节，以期帮助MBA 成长为负责任的领导者。但学生所写誓言的内容并不必然反映其真实的道 德水平，不能据此做出道德高下的判断。事实上，学生未来职场中的每一次选择，才是对其职业伦理水平以及 其所受职业伦理教育的最好评价。同时，鉴于国人的存在感、荣誉感和道德感向来更多依赖于社会、社群中的 文化结构(具体表现为非常在意自己的表达所带来的朋辈反应、群体压力及社会印象)，对于誓言写作这种探索 的实效，对于各类誓言的显性或隐性功能，也还需要用一种更为全景化的视角来观察。

Inspired by the HBS practice of MBA graduates signing a business ethics oath，Tsinghua SEM also arranged for students to write their own oaths in the business ethics course． However，what the students wrote down does not necessarily reflect their real moral standard． In fact，every choice made by them in the future career would reflect their moral standard and the effectiveness of professional ethics education． At the same time，as a social fact，Chinese people’s sense of honor and sense of morality depend more on the cultural structure of the society or community (group pressure，peer response，and social impression)． Therefore，the effectiveness of explorations in professional ethics education，such as oath writing，should be examined panoramically．
