英文摘要 | Does schooling matter for students’future life and work? This study addresses the question with PISA data and identifies the impact factors of the social adaptability of schooling. The results show that,even though students’achievements in mathematics,reading,and science rank number one in the world,education in Shanghai is low in social adaptability. Moreover,it is found that increasing teaching resources can significantly improve schooling adaptability; however,score-oriented evaluation can decrease educational adaptability. In addition,students different in gender,family backgrounds,and PISA scores differ in views on educational adaptability. |
