中文摘要 | 协商民主公民教育理论作为近二十年来自由主义民主公民教育理论的有力的批评者和挑战者在西方学界备受关注。它通过不断调整在由自由主义和共和主义所框限的民主理论谱系中的位置,并以区别于参与式民主理论的方式实现了对公民身份概念的重建。从规范论视角看,协商民主的公民教育提出了核心价值教育、民主教育的权威原则和基准原则等建设性主张;但它在实践中至少面临三方面的严峻挑战,它们分别涉及协商民主对公民的要求是否过高、对个人自主的包容是否成功以及公民政治社会化的困境。因此,协商民主公民教育是否有望成为传统自由主义公民教育的替代则有待进一步观察。 |
英文摘要 | Deliberative civic education theory has drawn great attention as a powerful critic and challenger to liberal civic education theory in recent twenty years in western academia. Deliberative democracy has achieved the reconstruction of the conception of citizenship in a different way from participatory democracy by adjusting itself continually on the spectrum of democratic theory framed by liberalism and republicanism. From a normative perspective, deliberative civic education puts forward some constructive proposals, such as education for core values, democratic authorization principle and democratic threshold principle .But in practice, it still confronts at least three challenges: whether citizens are demanded too high, whether it accommodates itself with personal autonomy successfully, and the predicaments of citizens' political socialization. So it remains to be further examined whether the deliberative civic education can be a substitute for the liberal civic education. |
