臺灣中等學校國際教育實施現況與未來發展

Implementation and Future Development of International Education in Secondary Schools in Taiwan

因應全球化與世界教育改革趨勢影響，我國國際教育的推動已由高等教育階段向下延伸至中等教育，甚至是初等教育階段，近年來，政府中央與地方教育主管部門與各級學校，均致力於推動相關國際教育策略，也因此國內相關研究日多。本文介紹我國中等學校推動國際教育相關政策，分析實施國際教育之相關成效，以及未來面臨的挑戰。作者以為我國國際教育的實施近年來已獲得極大成果，在實施特色方面：第一，國中階段以課程融入為主，藝文等方面交流為輔。英語教學也是此一階段所強調的重點；第二，高中職部分，第二外語以及國際旅行為各校發展重點，而大量日語課程以及赴日教育旅行頻繁，可見我國受日本影響極深；最後，作者針對我國國際教育的實施，分別對中央、地方，以及學校層級提出建議。

International education is becoming the global trend that Taiwan has to embrace. By examining the implementation of international education at secondary education level in Taiwan， this paper finds that Taiwan has made a tremendous progress in recent years. At junior high school level， global education has been a part of curriculum and also in sport and arts. At senior high school and vocational school， secondary foreign language and international cultures are introduced as optional courses. The final part is suggestions for concerned authorities.
