Retrospection and Reflection of Rural Education in Modern China

20 世纪20 年代开始，随着中国先进的知识分子对农村教育认识的提升，农村教育开始由被关注阶段转入真正实验实践阶段，它主要表现为资产阶级教育家在国民党统治区所开展的乡村教育运动和共产党在革命根据地领导的农村教育实践。回顾、比较、分析先辈们为推进农村教育的发展所做的种种探索，对如何促进当前农村教育的发展具有重要的参考、借鉴和反思价值。

Being aware of the importance of the rural education， the Chinese advancedintellectuals were not only concerned about， but also conducted some rural experiments since 1920s. Some bourgeois educationists started rural education movements in the KMT - ruled areas， and the communist Party organized rural educational practice in the revolutionary base areas. A retrospective and comparative study of the forerunners’efforts for the rural education is certain to be of great value for the current ruraleducational practice.
