中文摘要 | 本文旨在探討新右派的課程政策主張,以期對我國當前的課程改革有所啟示。首先,分析新右派的內涵;接著,對新右派的課程政策主張加以評析;最後,本文作者根據新右派課程政策之論點,試圖提出對我國當前課程改革的啟示。綜上所述,當前英美新右派的課程政策是結合新自由主義的教育市場化機制與新保守主義的國定課程,以及國定測驗之「保守的現代化」政策,意圖加強績效責任以提昇國家競爭力,並維護西方傳統的價值。反觀國內的課程改革,卻是走向「教育鬆綁」的方向。臺灣的課程改革充滿了人文主義與自由主義的色彩,值得高度肯定,但課程鬆綁與統整後所造成「知識淺化」的現象,卻也值得憂慮。面對當前課程改革,我們有必要進行深度的反省與前瞻,以期對課程改革有所助益。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this paper is to probe the New Right curriculum policy. The paper first analyzes the New Right and then criticizes the New Right curriculum policy. Finally, in accordance with to above criticism, the author attempts to find implications for the Grade 1-9 Integrated Coordinated Curriculum Reforms in Taiwan. The paper concludes that the conservative restoration of the New Right educational policy combines neo-liberal and neo-conservative agendas to cover a broad range of issues. The list of issues includes: competition, markets, decision making, accountability, performance objectives, standards, common culture, national curriculum and national testing. These multiple alliances for the New Right push curriculum in conservative directions. In Taiwan, the spirit of the Grade 1-9 Integrated Coordinated Curriculum Reforms emphasizes de-regulation and liberalization. Faced with so many problems in current curriculum issues, we all need to deeply reflect upon curriculum development backward and forward, in order to enhance our curriculum reforms. |
