Digital Badge: an Innovative Technology of Online Learning

凯尔·派克(Kyle Peck)博士，美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学(PSU: PennsylvaniaState University)教育学院教授、在线学习创新中心联合主任、美国航空航天局航天教育服务项目首席研究员。他主要研究如何在教育领域中应用技术开展创新，当前研究兴趣集中在数字徽章、在线学习创新、大规模开放在线课程等。\r凯尔教授曾担任美国教育传播与技术协会(AECT)主席及其附属宾州分会(PAECT)主席、国际教育技术协会(ISTE)程序与政策委员会主席、美国中大西洋区域教育实验室主任、宾州州立大学技术拓展研究院的副院长、宾州州立大学学习绩效系统系的系主任，还曾是宾州未来课堂评估项目联合主任，以及当地创新式“中心学习社区特许学校”的共同发起人。凯尔教授拥有丰富的学术经验，负责领导了PSU的学习设计与技术项目，并一直积极推动在宾西法尼亚州立大学和当地开展信息技术的教育创新应用；同时，他也是一个备受欢迎的演讲家，受邀在全球12个国家举办过260多场学术讲座。近两年来，数字徽章运动在美国迅速兴起。本刊特邀在PSU进行访问的学者胡小勇教授对凯尔教授进行了访谈，重点请他介绍了在数字徽章和在线学习创新方面的相关研究。

Dr. Kyle L. Peck is co-director of the center for online innovation in learning， principal investigatorfor the NASA aerospace education services project and professor of education at penn state university. He studies and appliesinnovations in education， and his current interests include online innovation in learning and digital badges and massive open onlinecourses (MOOCs) in education. He recently served as director of the regional educational lab for the mid-Atlantic region and codirectorof pennsylvania’s classrooms for the Future Evaluation Project. Kyle was also co-founder of the innovative “CentreLearning Community Charter School” and completed two terms on the board of directors of the international society for technologyin education(ISTE). He is a past president of the association for educational communications and technology(AECT) and itspennsylvania affiliate， PAECT， and has also served as associate dean for research， Outreach， and technology， head of the learningand performance systems department， and professor in charge of the learning design and technology program at penn state. He is apopular speaker， and has made more than 260 presentations at professional conferences in 12 countries.
