中文摘要 | 男女同校是我国学校教育由单一性别向两性共学的重大转变。虽然它作为妇女解放运动的重要议题之一已经引起教育史和妇女史研究的足够关注,但关于其中的大学男女同校之始,却众说纷纭。通过对此问题的重新探究,以足够的史料为依据,对其正本凊源,并在特定的历史语境中展开分析,得出中国大学男女同校之始并非北京大学,也不是大同大学,而是岭南大学的结论,以纠正以往的偏颇之见,进而使学术界对该问题的认识更为接近历史事实。 |
英文摘要 | Co-education was the significant revolution from unisexual learning to bisexual learning in school education m our country As an important topic of Women’s Liberation Movement, it has been attracted great attention by the history of education and history of women But there are different opinions a-bout the origin of co-education in Chinese universities Based on sufficient historical data,the authors clarified the source and reached the essence of the issue. The study analyzed the issue m specific historical context and concluded that it was Lingnan University, rather than Peking University or Datong University that was the origin of co-education m Chinese universities It corrected previous biases and thus made the scholars’ understanding of the issue closer to the historical facts. |
