法律教育在美国由来已久，20世纪70年代法律教育就成为美国中小学社会课程的重要组成部分，1978年美国出台了《法律教育法案》，敦促学校培养学生的法制精神。经过多年的实践，美国法律教育的目标、内容和方法逐渐确立，其基本目标是培养未来公民的法律信仰与行动；其基本内容则是将法律精神与日常法律问题相结合；其基本教育方式则是创设情境与营造氛围相统一。这对我国的法制教育、道德教育等领域都将有所启示。

Law-related education has a long history in America， it has become an important part of social curricula in primary and secondary schools in 1970s. America promulgated Law-related education Act in 1978 to train students’ law spirit. After years of practice， the goal， content and method of Law-related education have gradually taken into shape. The goal is to train the legal belief and action， the content is to combine the legal spirit and daily legal issues， and the method is to create context and create an atmosphere. This has implications for the legal education and moral education of our country.
